Most people outside of the industry have never heard of editorial modeling. Get this idea in your head. Editorial modeling is hot.
Basically editorial modeling means that you’re modeling for magazines. Big publications like Elle, Mademoiselle, Seventeen, and even regional magazines will hire models appear in their magazines, whether for fashion shoots, or to illustrate other things that people are interested in, such as financial affairs, music, movies, etc.
So what you need to keep in mind for this type of work is that your main client is the magazine or other publisher of the work.
