Pick Your Modeling Markets Well

When most people think of modeling, they think of top level fashion models operating in places like New York, Paris, and Milan. Of course these are places that have the most active amount of modeling activity.
But surprisingly, you can find active modeling markets in Boston, Huston, San Francisco, Phoenix, Miami, Chicago, and of course Los Angeles.
One thing to keep in mind is that there are always new trends coming down the road. Just because New York has traditionally been the capital for modeling does not mean that it will always be the capital. In fact, in Los Angeles, the all but dead fashion modeling industry has been coming alive.
What you need to keep in mind is that in these markets other than New York and Paris and Milan, you find more specialty modeling. For example you may find swimsuit modeling in Florida and fitness modeling in California.
Also, if you’re interested in catalog modeling, you may need to be located near places where the catalog publishers are located.
